Fakecation 4

kit used: Julie.Itis Nostalgia

journaling reads:
Susan and Jennifer wanted to ride the dolphins. I told them it would be way to dangerous, but they decided to try it anyway. How was I to know that they would be natural dolphin riders?

Susan made sure Jennifer didn’t do any crazy tricks. It was difficult, but she somehow managed to stay in control of the situation.

On the plus side, they can do dolphin tricks during the summer.

journaling reads: Jillyn thought it would be lots of fun to go swimming in the ocean. Under careful supervision she went out and did her famous rain dance.
Luckily it did not bring rain, but it has been known to cause speculation on the sanity of the family.

journaling reads: After a long and tiring trip, we finally arrived. The kids stood on the beach and waited for their lei’s. I take no credit for how they are dressed, or any chocolate on their faces. It was a LONG trip

Fakecation

I am starting a new series...it is called fakecation. You know, a vacation that you never really took? Well taking kids to Hawaii is insane, so I opted to make my own memories for it. I figure if the kids see this enough, they might believe that they actually went to Hawaii!! (well, I can hope!)

I used ScrapDZines kit: Carefree

Journaling reads:
Susan and Sarah were getting close to going off to college and so we decided we needed a family vacation. One big family trip. So..
Hawaii, here we come.
Unfortunately the plane didn’t have enough room for the whole family. Matthew and Michael were able to get discounts by flying on the wing.

and so it begins!

I hope you enjoy my vacations as much as I did!

This is part of my Things that never really happened series. It is where I take an "orphan" photo and make up a story for it...usually with dry humor Smile
